MONSTERS AND MYTHICAL BEASTS
The Bosh is a strange little beast that manifests whenever an artist has difficulty focusing on a single project. Looking awkward and uncomfortable much of the time, the Bosh is a cobbled-together collection of seemingly disparate parts that don’t appear to work together, but could easily be picked out from the catalogue of strange beasts that fill classic surrealist paintings.
I can personally attest to having at least one bosh in my own studio each day, drinking cold tea from forgotten mugs and staring out the window whilst chewing on leaves from my houseplants.
